2020 has been a rocky and difficult year. We hope this day will a glimmering moment of memorable, everlasting joy. We're so excited for you to join us on this exciting, adventurous, and beautiful occasion. Here are some event details and things to expect.
Location Details
We will be holding our small ceremony at Lanham Lake in the Cascade Mountains. This is a beautiful lake nested in the valley between Big Chief and Jim Hill Mountains. It will be a 1.6 mile hike (or snowshoe) up to the lake, with about 1,100 feet of elevation gain. The hike winds its way through a snowy forest and opens up into a cathedral like lake. We love it. We think you will too.

Things to Bring
Long Underwear
You will want to wear synthetic or wool (non cotton) underlayer
Fleece or down mid layer
Depending on what type or pant shell or jacket you wear, fleece can keep you pretty well insulated!
Ski or Hiking Socks
Avoid cotton, and if you're boots aren't water proof, consider bringing an extra pair
Snowshoes
If you have them, bring them. We will have 5 extra pairs available for people who don't own them.
Hiking Boots
There will be a decent amount of walking throughout the day, so choose a sturdy waterproof boot that you will be comfortable in.
